Merlaue Weir Mark & RAM

Saturday, 4th October, saw the Merlaue Weir RAM and Mark Meetings forced to change location due to dining challenges at Marlow. The Wokingham Masonic Centre in our neighbouring Province of Berkshire stepped in to host with a sumptuous cold buffet, laid on at the festive board, to nicely round off the very enjoyable evening.
The proceedings started with Fred Clarke Presiding as Worshipful Commander of the RAM Meeting, where Scribe Neil Harvey delivered a thought-provoking and well-received talk about Noah and the Ark.
The Mark Meeting then followed, where David Steel continued as Worshipful Master for another year, but instead of the usual Proclamation, he was Inducted by Secretary Neil Harvey in a brilliantly delivered and orchestrated ceremony.
During both meetings, the Provincial Grand Master was represented by Provincial Director of Ceremonies Kevin Shannon and was very ably escorted by Provincial Assistant Director of Ceremonies Lloyd Harrison.
If you’ve not yet progressed into the Royal Ark Mariner degree, then ask your Secretary or anyone wearing the breast jewel for details on how to join.
