Packed Evening at St Peter & St Paul Mark

Provincial Rep

The 21st April saw a packed agenda for St Peter and St Paul Mark, which met at Eliot Hall in Winslow for Phil Blacklaw to start a second year in the Chair.
The evening started with our previous Provincial Grand Master, David Tremaine, filling in as the Provincial Representative, escorted into the Lodge by the Provincial DC, Nigel Beaven. Nigel then delivered the Travelling Keystone into the care of St Peter & St Paul with the appropriate Ceremony.
Phil was proclaimed by Steve Tunney, and then he appointed and invested his officers. Many of them have not been through the chair before, making the future of the Lodge look very rosy.
After the Installation, David delivered a very well-received talk on “Who was Adoniram?” generating quite a bit of discussion after the meeting. He also presented a Grand Lodge Certificate to David Todd.
The evening was finished off nicely with the legendary carvery at the Bell Hotel – an experience not to be missed if you’ve not been before.
They are hoping to do something a little different at their next meeting in October, so book in as a visitor with the Secretary, Simon Baines, or email the Provincial Grand Secretary, Tony Robinson, who will pass on your request.
