New Commander at Grand Union

New Commander at Grand Union

The 23rd April 2025 saw another first-time Commander being installed in the Province.
Steve Joyce delivered a word-perfect ceremony when he installed his successor, Gary Albert as Commander of Grand Union RAM at Linslade.
The evening started with Beaudesert holding their Mark meeting, where Rodney effortlessly breezed through the agenda. Then, in a change of format, the Lodge held its Festive Board before moving on to the RAM meeting, where Steve installed Gary. Gary looked more than comfortable in the Commander’s chair when appointing and investing his officers.
The Provincial Grand Senior Warden, Tony Robinson, represented the Provincial Grand Master and was escorted by the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies, Kevin Shannon. Tony also presented a Grand Lodge Certificate to John Palman.
Both meetings were very well supported, showing that the change in format did nothing to diminish attendance, and it was an excellent evening all round.
Grand Union can look forward to a successful year under the leadership of its new Commander.
